Privacy Policy

Flextec Limited (company number 14670306, registered in England and Wales) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website, by phone or by email. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our registered office is in Kingston upon Hull, HU4. What we collect and why

Enquiry data: name, contact details, site address and a description of what you need installed. Used solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and deliver any subsequent installation. Site survey notes, system design documents and engineer photographs are kept on file as part of the project record. We do not sell, rent or share enquiry data with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Quote and enquiry records are kept for two years from last contact, then deleted. Customer project records (designs, certificates, invoices) are kept for seven years to meet HMRC and insurance requirements. CCTV footage on customer sites belongs to the customer — we do not retain copies. Email correspondence is retained on our mail provider in line with their standard storage.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email info@flexteclimited.co.uk with proof of identity. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
